Omelette

Making an omelette is very easy. The earliest omelettes are believed to have originated in ancient Persia. Omelette is a French word and was first officially used in a French cooking publication, Cuisine Bourgeoisie in the late 17th century. Now almost every country has there own version of Omelette. This is a general omelette recipe I do in the home.

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 Big onion
  • 1 Green chilly
  • Cheese
  • Pinch of coriander leaves
  • Salt, Pepper
  • 2 tsp Olive oil

Preparation

Cut the Onion and Green chilly in small pcs. Put eggs in a bowl and beat it lightly with a fork until it forms foam. Add the onion, green chilly, ground pepper, and salt to taste. Mix it well.

In a frying pan put the olive oil and let it become hot. Pour the prepared mixture of the egg. When the egg begins to set put some grated cheese. Wait for 2 to 3 minutes. Once cheese set well put some coriander leaves. The omelette is ready to serve.
