This easy homemade French onion soup is awesome. The taste of caramelized onions with melty cheese and the beef stock makes it yummy. Very easy to make French onion soup serve with French baguette is a classic one. Ingredients 1/4 cup unsalted butter 5 or 6 medium-size onion sliced 2 cloves garlic, minced 1/3 cup dry white wine 6 cups beef stock 4 sprigs fresh thyme 2 bay leaves 2 teaspoons white vinegar Salt, black pepper to taste French baguette slices 1 cup shredded Cheese Cooking Directions Melt butter in a large stockpot over medium heat.
